Anita
Dental Hygienist
Anita helps our patients to improve their oral health by providing a wide range of dental hygiene services. Most importantly, this includes education regarding the connection between oral health and the body’s overall health and wellness. Anita loves seeing the improvements our patients make in their dental health between visits.
When she’s not in the office, Anita enjoys volunteering and helping others by participating at the Special Olympics and the Mission of Mercy Northern Virginia. She also loves photography and running.
Caleta
Front Desk Receptionist
The first face our patients see is Caleta’s, our friendly and helpful front desk receptionist. She assists our patients by checking them in and out of appointments, scheduling future appointments, and verifying insurance. Caleta’s fun, outgoing personality serves her well when interacting with people all day, as she truly loves working with our patients and the rest of our team. She is a true native Washingtonian and has been over ten years in customer service.
Diana
Dental Assistant
Diana was born in El Salvador and raised in Maryland, making her fluent in Spanish and English. She attended Fortis College and obtained her certificate in the dental assisting program. It is always important to her to help every patient feel comfortable during every appointment. Her most rewarding feeling is when patients improve their oral health after each visit.
When she is not in the office, she enjoys reading, and spending time with friends, family and her dog “Bella.”
Talia
Dental Hygienist
Talia has been a registered dental hygienist since 2019. She earned her degree in dental hygiene from Fortis College in Landover. Her favorite part of being in the dental field is helping every patient feel confident in their smile while helping them understand how to maintain good oral and overall health. She has been told that her gentle approach makes each visit feel relaxing.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, practicing yoga, and tending to her house plants.
Claudia
Dental Assistant
Hi, my name is Claudia. I was born and raised in Washington D.C. My parents are from Central America, and I speak Spanish and English fluently. I attended Hands On Dental School and received my certification as a dental assistant, and since 2021 I have worked with Bethesda Smiles. I enjoy working in the medical field by helping our dental patients achieve their best dental care.
In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and two daughters.
